My name is Kevin Crawford, and I’ve always been drawn to building things, whether it’s solving a tricky design challenge or crafting something beautiful from wood. I also value the relationships that come from this work; connecting with clients and helping bring their ideas to life is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I began my career building fine furniture and gradually expanded into custom cabinetry and millwork. Today, Crawford Woodworks is known throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a commitment to service. With over a decade of experience, we’ve built a reputation as a trusted high-end woodworking business that takes pride in both precision and creativity.
Whether it’s custom kitchen cabinets, floating shelves, wall paneling, built-ins, or unique furniture pieces, every project we take on receives personal attention and care from start to finish. If you’re looking for something beyond factory-made or off-the-shelf, something truly custom and built to last, you’ve come to the right place.
Founder & Lead Craftsman
Kevin grew up immersed in the trades and discovered an early passion for working with his hands. To hone his skills, he attended the Chippendale International School of Furniture in Scotland, where he trained in traditional and modern woodworking techniques. In 2012, he founded Crawford Woodworks with a commitment to quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and strong client relationships. When he’s not in the shop, Kevin enjoys watching movies, lifting weights, and playing strategic board games.
Production Manager
With more than 20 years of experience as a cabinetmaker, Phil brings a tremendous depth of knowledge to our team. Having worked in shops of every size throughout the Bay Area, he has developed a deep appreciation for both the craft and the process of fine woodworking. As our Production Manager, Phil helps ensure that every project moves efficiently through the shop while maintaining the high standards our clients expect. Outside of work, he enjoys cinema and going on long rides on his bicycle.
Design & Workflow Coordinator
Bryan leads our digital workflow, guiding clients through the design, estimating, and shop drawing phases. With a knack for systems and a calm, thoughtful approach, he helps translate ideas into clear, buildable plans. Outside of work, Bryan enjoys nature walks, puzzles, and tabletop games.
Cabinet Maker and Lead Installer
Chris works both in production and installation, ensuring every piece we create meets our high standards from start to finish. Raised in his father’s cabinet shop, Chris later pursued professional soccer before returning to his roots in woodworking. His attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship are evident in every job he takes on. When he’s not working, he enjoys sports and spending time with his young daughter.
Cabinet Maker and Millwork Specialist
Taylor is the newest member of the Crawford Woodworks team and works primarily in the shop, building custom cabinetry and architectural millwork. Before entering the woodworking industry, he worked in several different fields before discovering a passion for working with solid wood and creating things by hand. He approaches every project with curiosity and a strong work ethic. When he’s away from the shop, Taylor enjoys spending as much time as possible with his family and in the outdoors.
Have an idea, but need help realizing it? Crawford Woodworks will provide full design and rendering services to bring your ideas to life. Whether a house full of cabinetry or a single bookcase are needed, we work directly with our clients to produce quality 3D renderings and full-scale shop drawings. Projects are shepherded through a process of design, client feedback and re-design to arrive at the perfect piece for your space.
